Saving & Exporting Results

A great search is only useful if you can keep what you found. This page shows you how to select results, add them to a Space so they become reusable knowledge, and export them to CSV.

Selecting results

Before you can save or export, you choose which results you want.

  1. Run a search and wait for results to stream in, grouped by source.
  2. Hover over any result card to reveal its checkbox.
  3. Click the checkbox to select that result. Select as many as you like across the different sources.

You can refine what you’re working with using the Filters panel on the left (Apps, Result Type, Date) and the sort option (for example, Relevance) so you only select the results that matter.

Adding results to a Space

Once you’ve selected the results you want to keep, you can add them to a Space.

  1. Select one or more results using their checkboxes.
  2. Choose to add the selected results to a Space.
  3. Pick the Space you want them in (for example, Acme Market Research).

Adding results to a Space turns search hits into reusable records: knowledge the Medullar AI can read, reason over, and cite when you chat in that Space. New records show a Processing status while they’re indexed, then they’re ready to use.

Records are the foundation of a Space’s knowledge. To learn how records, pins, and the Discovery Path work together, see Records, Pins & Discovery.

Exporting results to CSV

When you’d rather work with results outside Medullar, such as in a spreadsheet, you can export them.

  1. Select the results you want with their checkboxes.
  2. Choose to export to CSV.
  3. Open the downloaded file in your spreadsheet tool to sort, share, or analyze the results.

This is handy for building a quick list, sharing findings with a teammate, or keeping an offline snapshot.

Tips for keeping useful results

  • Save to a Space when you’ll come back to it. Anything you add becomes a reusable record you can chat with later, not just a one-time link.
  • Export to CSV for quick, offline lists or when you want to work in a spreadsheet.
  • Filter and sort before you select so you only keep the most relevant results.
  • Connect more apps for richer results. If a banner suggests connecting more apps, doing so means more sources show up in your next search.

Once your results live in a Space, you can chat over them, pin the key answers, and follow the Discovery Path behind each one.
