Some FAQ about Microsoft 365 app
Why, using Microsoft 365 app, do I see the same files in Onedrive and SharePoint?
You see duplicate files in OneDrive and SharePoint when using Microsoft 365 APP because these services are integrated within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. OneDrive and SharePoint use a unified storage system on the backend. This means that OneDrive for Business files are stored in SharePoint. This integration allows for seamless access and management of files across both platforms.
Medullar deduplicates them and shows only the OneDrive ones, although they also live in Sharepoint.
